Regional Economic Investment Pilot
How can the Province help communities advance their economic development priorities? That’s the question the Province is exploring by partnering with communities in three regional economic investment pilot projects as part of Canada Starts Here – The BC Jobs Plan. The pilot is aimed at identifying opportunities, attracting investment, diversifying regional economies and creating jobs.
Over the next 12-18 months, the Province will work with Campbell River, the North Fraser region, and the McBride to Barriere corridor to identify and advance key job creation and investment attraction opportunities.
